Terrestrial Broadcast Repeater

DTV Repeater for Multi Frequency Network
[DAR-1000H]

[DAR-1000H]
DAR-1000H is a repeater converting SMPTE-310 and ASI to 8VSB, demodulating the signal, and pre-compensating linear and non-linear distortion by its measuring function to transmit high quality signal.

Features

  • Adaptive pre-corrector: Compensation of linear and nonlinear distortion
  • Measurement of transmission signal quality: SNR, EVM, IMD, etc.
  • Integrated exciter with demodulator function
  • Wireless remote control: CDMA

ATSC Digital On-Channel Repeater for Single
Frequency Network [DAR-2000S]

[DAR-2000S]
DAR-2000S supports high antenna isolation, high quality output signal and short processing delay. In addition, this can be operated without additional frequency allocation as it uses the same Tx/Rx channel. As a on-channel repeater, this system is useful as a repeater for mobile TV and a gap-filler for fringe area.

Features

  • Interference Cancellation System (ICS) function: Resolves the problem of restricted installation of Tx/Rx antenna
  • Short system delay time: Secures reception stability in the same channel network
  • Adaptive pre-corrector: Compensation of linear and nonlinear distortion
  • Measurement of transmission signal quality: SNR, EVM, IMD, etc.
  • Wireless remote control: CDMA

ATSC Distributed Translation Repeater [DAR-3000H]

[DAR-3000H]
ATSC Distributed Translation Repeater (DTxR) uses the frequencies different from those of main transmitter, but same as those between auxiliary station repeaters. Thus, this system allows easy configuration of Single Frequency Network (SFN) to maximize the efficiency of using frequency resources.

Features

  • Tx frequency synchronization between repeaters only with the signals received from main transmitter without GPS
  • Different Tx/Rx channel frequencies: No limitation of output
  • Adaptive pre-corrector: Compensation of linear and nonlinear distortion
  • Measurement of transmission signal quality: SNR, EVM, IMD, etc.
  • Adjustment of TxID insertion and output time
  • Wireless remote control: CDMA

DMB Digital On-Channel Repeater for Single
Frequency Network
[DAR-4000H]

[DAR-4000H]
DAR-4000H is a DMB Digital On-Channel Repeater (DOCR) based on Eureka-147 DAB system for single frequency network. In cooperation with KBS Technical Research Institute, DARBS applies Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC), a multiple antenna receiving technique, to terrestrial repeaters for the first time in this industry to minimize MER degradation and to secure more stable DMB signal relay.

Features

  • Interference Cancellation System (ICS) function: Resolves the problem of restricted installation of Tx/Rx antenna
  • Short system delay time: Secures reception stability in the same channel network
  • Adaptive pre-corrector: Compensation of linear distortion
  • Measurement of transmission signal quality: Rx MER, Tx MER etc.
  • Wireless remote control: CDMA
